Match report: Arsenal Women 4-0 Everton

WHAT HAPPENED We returned to winning ways in the Women’s Super League on Sunday as we secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Everton. There was big news when our starting XI was announced with Vivianne Miedema on the bench, but that didn’t stop us from delivering a complete performance with goals from all over the pitch. Caitlin Foord was trusted to lead the line, while Jordan Nobbs returned on the left wing - and it was the latter who opened the scoring inside four minutes. Beth Mead picked up the ball on the right wing and fizzed the ball across the face of goal, leaving Nobbs the simple task of firing into an open goal.
