Arsenal fans unconvinced by Alex Runar Runarsson after howler vs Man City
Arsenal fans have been left with mixed emotions over Runar Alex Runarsson. Known as Alex Runarsson, the Icelandic goalkeeper joined the club from Dijon in the summer and stated that he would be pushing for a regular first-team spot under Mikel Arteta. The 25-year-old was handed a rare start for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester City, but the clash didn’t go to plan with the away side running out easy winners. However, the game was looking far more postive at the break after Alexandre Lacazette canceled out the opener from Gabriel Jesus, but Runarsson’s blunder for a Riyad Mahrez free-kick turned the tide.
