Runarsson forced to deactivate Twitter account after Man City humiliation
Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Runarsson has deactivated his Twitter account in the wake of the club's recent defeat to Manchester City. The Icelandic international, who arrived from Ligue 1 side Dijon in the summer, made his fifth Arsenal appearance on Tuesday evening. But it was one to forget for the 25-year-old - and not just because the Gunners shipped four goals to City and crashed out of the Carabao Cup. With the scoreline at 1-1, Runarsson flapped at Riyad Mahrez's free-kick and effectively punched the ball into his own net.
