Arsenal 'join Liverpool in race for Roger Ibanez'
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Roma defender Roger Ibanez next summer. The 22-year-old is technically on loan with Roma from Atalanta BC until the end of the 2020-21 campaign but will complete a permanent move to the former if certain conditions are met. Liverpool have recently been linked with the centre-back amid suggestions that he could be available for a fee in the region of £36m in next summer's transfer window. However, according to Calciomercato, Arsenal are also interested in his services as head coach Mikel Arteta looks to sign another defender, and the Gunners have already contacted Roma over a potential move.
