Dortmund's asking price for Brandt leaves Arsenal in dilemma over transfer plans

Arsenal have been told the asking price for Julian Brandt by Borussia Dortmund. Amid the continued exodus of Mesut Ozil, the Gunners are in the market for an attacking midfielder as they try to find a solution to the goal drought of skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu are likely to be considering their options as the January transfer window gets underway, and their list is said to also include Emiliano Buendia of Norwich.
