Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table following Liverpool’s setback

A supercomputer has predicted how the final Premier League table will look come the end of the season, and it’s bad news for Liverpool fans. The Reds were dealt a major blow in their bid to retain the title on Monday night, with former striker Danny Ings’ superb strike condemning them to a 1-0 defeat away at Southampton. That loss means arch-rivals Manchester United, who currently sit in second place on goal difference, can move three points clear of Jurgen Klopp ’s side at the top of the table by winning their game-in-hand against Burnley on January 12. And five days later United will have the opportunity to open up a six-point lead in first place when they make the trip to Anfield...
