Arsenal fans have been left distraught as Mesut Ozil is getting closer to a Fenerbahce move. The Gunners midfielder, who has endured a “toxic” saga with the club since lockdown, has reportedly agreed a three-year deal with the Turkish side. It would bring an end to his eight-season tenure with the north London side, having arrived from Real Madrid in 2013 for £42.5million. Making more than 250 appearances, the 32-year-old was praised throughout his time at the club for his creativity and vision that has put him on 77 assists and 44 goals.
