Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has described the emotion of Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian was forced to miss the Gunners FA Cup third round win over Newcastle after suffering what looked to be a serious injury while warming up at the Emirates. The 19-year-old has only recently returned to action following rehab for a serious knee injury which ruled him out for the second half of the previous campaign. Although his side went on to win following goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, attention has now turned to their young striker.
