Martin Odegaard's Arsenal loan terms including wages, option to buy and fee paid

Arsenal will not have the option to sign Martin Odegaard permanently at the end of his expected loan deal in the summer. The Gunners look set to confirm the signing of the highly-rated Real Madrid midfielder on a temporary basis until the end of the season. Mikel Arteta's side will pay a £1.8million loan fee for the Norwegian star and cover his £38,000-a-week wages for the duration of his Emirates stay. However, Arsenal have not been given the option to retain the 22-year-old’s services beyond the initial six month spell as the Spanish giants want to keep him in the event manager Zindine Zidane leaves the club.
