Arsenal defender David Luiz could reportedly be in line for a one-year contract extension at the Emirates Stadium. Despite making a number of high-profile errors in red and white, Mikel Arteta has not lost faith in Luiz and he remains a first-team regular even after the arrival of Gabriel Magalhaes. The former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain centre-back is also known to be a respected character in the dressing room, and Arteta has supposedly been impressed at how Luiz has taken the youngsters under his wing.
