10 stars' brushes with the law as Ex-Man Utd ace Wallwork sentenced over assault

Former Manchester United midfielder Ronnie Wallwork has been sentenced to 18 months jail suspended for two years following an assault in 2019, but he is not the first footballer to find themselves on the wrong side of the law. The 43-year-old, who was on the books at Old Trafford for nine years between 1993 and 2002, pleaded guilty on Thursday to inflicting grievous bodily harm during a pub brawl on December 22, 2019.
