Kroenkes release fresh statement over Arsenal ownership amid takeover talk

The Kroenkes insist they have no intention of selling Arsenal amid reports of a potential takeover bid from Spotify chief Daniel Ek and three of the club’s former Invincibles. According to The Telegraph, Ek was plotting a bid to relieve the Gunners of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment’s unpopular ownership along with Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp. The Spotify founder and chief executive, believed to be worth £3.5billion, has publicly confirmed his interest in buying Arsenal, of whom he is an avid supporter.
