Ex-Arsenal defender Lauren congratulates Petr Cech
Former Arsenal defender Lauren has hinted that the Gunners have all but sealed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech. Reports earlier this week had indicated that manager Arsene Wenger was 'quietly confident' of wrapping up an £11m deal for the 33-year-old. Cech, who fell behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order last season, is said to be desperate for a switch to North London. Although the move is yet to be confirmed, Lauren, who spent six years playing under Wenger at Arsenal, intimates that the deal is done. He wrote on Twitter: "All the best to Cech.
