Defender deal done! Jose set to get Arsenal home-grown player..
Morning all. Ok, tongue in cheek as reports yesterday suggested the under tall Portuguese man wants to sign Alex Song. He's classed as home-grown having been with Arsenal for so long and apparently Man City are interested as well. Has the world finally gone mad? Seriously, all this ‘home-grown' stuff isn't going to work is it? English players either aren't good enough for the top clubs, overpriced or simply happy where they are and not interested in signing for one of the ‘rich' clubs. Look at the figures quoted for Sterling and Kane which is £50 million and £40 million respectively. Can anyone tell me that either of those players are worth paying more than we did for Alexis...
