William Gallas has slammed the decision to appoint Mikel Arteta as Arsenal coach and also taken a pop at the players. The Gunners have had a tough campaign this year as Arteta underwent his first full season as a manager. Despite winning an FA Cup when he arrived last campaign, it has been far from as successful this year round. Arsenal have finished eighth in the Premier League which means they will not be in Europe next season. That ends a consecutive run of 25 years in a continental competition and fans are less than pleased - with one former player also twisting the knife on the Spanish coach.
