Prem clubs who planned European Super League breakaway 'agree to £20m fines'
Premier League rebels Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are said to have agreed on future punishments over breakaway plans. Players and supporters came out in force earlier this year against the intention to form a European Super League with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, forcing owners to scrap plans and apologise. While the threat of potential punishment had been looming, it appears as though steps have been taking to prevent similar moves being made in future.
