Arsenal defender William Saliba 'rejects Rennes loan'

Arsenal centre-back William Saliba has reportedly rejected the opportunity to join French outfit Rennes on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old arrived at the Emirates for £30m from Saint-Etienne in 2019, but was immediately returned to the club on loan, and has since been sent to Nice on a short-term deal also. Saliba is still waiting to make his first-team debut for Mikel Arteta's side, and with the Gunners showing interest in Brighton & Hove Albion's Ben White, the Frenchman's future in North London is in doubt.
