Rafael Benitez 'will be handed healthy transfer budget this summer'

Everton boss Rafael Benitez has reportedly been assured by the Merseyside club's board that he will have money to spend during this summer's transfer window. Benitez has replaced Carlo Ancelotti as head coach of the Toffees, and there have already been a number of players linked with moves to Goodison Park since the Spaniard's arrival. A recent report claimed that the Merseyside outfit are ready to rival Arsenal for the signing of £50m-rated Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back this summer.
