AC Milan 'make improved contract offer to Franck Kessie'

AC Milan have reportedly made an improved offer to midfielder Franck Kessie in the hope of tying him down to a new contract, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The Ivory Coast international is a key figure in the Rossoneri's side, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 50 appearances for the club during the 2020-21 campaign. Kessie's current contract with the Italian giants runs until next summer and the club are keen to retain his services beyond that date, but the 24-year-old rejected Milan's previous renewal worth around £4m.
