Barcelona's young starlet Pedri was one of the breakout stars of the 20/21 campaign before he impressed at Euro 2020 and the Olympics. Pedri has reportedly signed a new deal at the Nou Camp as Barcelona's executives look to build the side around the Spaniard. The 18-year-old looks set to be the Catalan sides next big star after the departure of Lionel Messi to PSG earlier this summer. However, Arsenal passed up the chance to sign the youngster when he was at Las Palmas. Journalist Matt Law tweeted: 'Just been told that Arsenal passed up the chance to sign Pedri from Las Palmas a couple of years ago. Oh well, no biggie...'
