Arsenal woes deepen as Granit Xhaka tests positive for Covid-19 on international duty

Arsenal star Granit Xhaka has tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with Switzerland. The midfielder was left out of the Swiss squad to face Greece in Basel on Wednesday after being diagnosed with symptoms on the morning of the game. Xhaka's positive test means that he is likely to face 10 days of isolation in Switzerland. However, the Swiss FA are planning to give the 28-year-old a further test on Thursday, which may change his situation. As it stands, he will miss matches against Italy and Northern Ireland.
