Forgotten Arsenal man out on loan could seal £3m exit after impressing Sven Mislintat

Forgotten Arsenal man Konstantinos Mavropanos could be handed a lifeline by sealing a permanent transfer to VfB Stuttgart. The Greek defender spent last season on loan with the Bundesliga side, helping them to reach ninth place in the German top tier. Stuttgart extended his loan over the summer for a fee of £500,000, despite talk of a permanent move at the time with Mavropanos becoming something of a fan favourite at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. There is a clause in his most recent loan deal that allows Die Roten to make the move permanent too for £3million, according to Bild.
