Man Utd underpaid by £60m during transfer window while Arsenal overpaid by £50m
Manchester United were the winners of the transfer window, while Arsenal were the losers, according to new research. Neither side was afraid to splash the cash this summer, with both clubs bringing in plenty of new talent. United spent around £133million, signing the likes of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, Tom Heaton and a certain Cristiano Ronaldo. Arsenal lamped out over £150million on Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ben White, Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
