Tottenham coach had to be stopped from punching Arsene Wenger in fiery derby

Former Tottenham coach Clive Allen has revealed he had to be stopped from punching Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after the Frenchman refused to shake his hand. Allen, who made over 100 appearances for Spurs during his playing career, was part of the backroom staff under manager Harry Redknapp during his tenure at the club. A constant threat in front of goal, the Englishman racked up more than 60 goals for Tottenham winning PFA Players' Player of the Year in 1967. But he was an unknown threat to Arsene Wenger in 2011, with reserve goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini having to stop him from throwing a fist towards the Gunners boss.
