Referee Michael Oliver absolutely savaged ex-Premier League player on sub bench

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has revealed a savage dig referee Michael Oliver once aimed at him as he sat on the substitute bench. Bent, 37, enjoyed his best spells as a Premier League player for Charlton, Spurs and Sunderland, earning 13 caps and even scoring four for England in the process. But the ex-striker spent the latter part of his career predominantly as a journeyman between various Championship sides, where he often found himself on the bench once age had caught up with him.
