Abou Diaby leaves Arsenal after contract expires
Abou Diaby made one appearances for Arsenal last season. Arsenal have confirmed Abou Diaby has left the club after reaching the end of his contract. Diaby, 29, made just one appearance for Arsenal last season as he struggled for fitness, during a career blighted by injuries. The French midfielder joined the Gunners from Auxerre in 2006 and went on to make 180 first-team appearances, scoring 19 goals.
