Arsenal plot £21.1m bid for long-term target
We have long been linked with a move for FC Schalke 04 star Julian Draxler, and are set to return with a bid for the German star this summer, according to the Metro. The reports originated from Italian publication Tutto Juve, suggesting that we are keen to beat Juventus to the signing of the promising young star. Talks between the Serie A side and Schalke have apparently not gone well, prompting Arsene Wenger to make a move for a player he has long admired. The report claims we are willing to offer £17.6m initially, with £3.5m in add-ons to come later.
