Benzema dismisses Arsenal transfer talk
Benzema was constantly linked to the Gunners throughout the summer, with Arsene Wenger continually fielding questions over a potential move for the French striker. Manchester United were also tenatively linked with the forward, but Benzema himself insists any talk of leaving the Santiago Bernabeu was pure speculation. "There was nothing in the talk of a transfer away from Madrid," he told Telefoot. "I'm happy at my current club, it's the best in the world. I'll continue to work here and be happy where I am."
