Wenger confirms Coquelin nose op
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Francis Coquelin did have surgery on his broken nose after it twice took a bashing in last weekend's victory over Everton. The midfielder's schnoz required extensive on-field treatment after bearing the brunt of an accidental clash with Olivier Giroud and then exploded in blood-tacular fashion a second time in the 89th minute after a thump from the ball. Speaking to Arsenal Player ahead of Arsenal's trip to QPR the boss confirmed he expects his young compatriot to be able to play despite ‘a little surgery' to repair the damage.
