Arsenal Face Atletico Madrid Competition For Alvaro Morata
It has been revealed that Juventus face fresh competition keeping hold of Alvaro Morata. The Spanish international striker's contract carries a buy-back option for Real Madrid. However, it's now Atletico Madrid which are keen. After the sale of Jackson Martinez to Guangzhou Evergrande – for 42 million – Atletico are now seeking a new striker signing. High on agenda, says AS, is Morata, who has lost his first-choice status this season to Paulo Dybala. Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Chelsea's Diego Costa are also on Atletico's shortlist. Alvaro Morata is also wanted by Arsenal.
