Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker not giving up on Premier League title
Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi took Player of the Week honours after notching a goal and assist in Arsenal's win over Watford. Arsene Wenger says he is proud of Arsenal's record of bringing youth players through to the first team. Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker believes the club can still win the Premier League this season. A 4-0 victory over Watford at the weekend left the Gunners 11 points behind league leaders Leicester with a game in hand. With Arsene Wenger's men having seven games left, Mertesacker has not given up hope of overhauling the Foxes -- but concedes his side can ill afford to drop any more points.
