Arsenal v Aston Villa – TEAM NEWS
TEAM NEWS Danny Welbeck could be out for around nine months with a serious knee injury, and is certain not to play. Midfielders Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini, 'three big personalities', will likely be released at the end of the season, and Wenger believes 'one or two of them could play on Sunday'. Alan Hutton and Ciaran Clark are injury worries for Villa, while Kieran Richardson is another doubt. Teenager Kevin Toner is likely to keep his place but French midfielder Jordan Veretout will probably stay sidelined (pelvis). Aly Cissokho comes back into contention after a ban while striker Rudy Gestede is also back in training.
