Arsenal get major transfer boost Granit Xhaka's £19m teammate
One of Switzerland's top stars, Ricardo Rodriguez could easily push Nacho Monreal for the starting left back job. Arsenal appear to leaving no stone unturned this summer as they try to build a title favorite for next season. Though Jamie Vardy is keeping the Gunners hanging, the club may have found a player who better fits their plans in VfL Wolfsburg left back Ricardo Rodriguez. In an interview with Blick [per the Metro], Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs admitted that Rodriguez was seeking to leave the German giants and that keeping the 23-year-old defender might prove ‘unrealistic'. ‘As we have recently gathered, it was clear.
