'What I learnt from my spell at Basel'

Having spent three years at Basel, it is only natural that Mohamed Elneny is looking forward to facing his former side on Wednesday night. The Egypt international spent three years at the Swiss club after leaving his homeland, and says it was absolutely vital to his development. “I didn’t have a lot of experience before I moved to Basel,” Elneny told Arsenal Player. “I learned a lot and gained plenty of experience playing for them in both the Champions League and Europa League.
