Mesut Ozil has reportedly held talks with Fenerbahce over a potential move during a recent trip to Turkey, according to Hurriyet. The report claims the Germany international took a short trip to Istanbul where he met club officials to discuss a move to the club in the future. Ozil’s future is currently the subject of much speculation with the World Cup winner yet to agree a contract extension with the Gunners. The 28-year-old’s current deal expires in 2018 and Arsene Wenger has admitted he wants Ozil to stay and is confident the Emirates is the right place for him to continue his career.
