It has been reported that Liverpool are not ruling out selling Raheem Sterling this summer. The Mail on Sunday claims that Liverpool have placed a £50million price tag on Sterling if the player does not agree to sign a new deal. Liverpool have offered 20-year-old Sterling – currently on £35,000-a-week – a £100,000-a-week deal with an option to increase that to £140,000-plus in two years on the basis of the player’s progress. Sterling’s advisers are currently insisting on that amount now.
