Arsenal striker close to making a comeback

It has been seven months since Danny Welbeck has graced the pitch due to a knee injury, but it appears that the Arsenal striker is closing in on a comeback. According to The Mirror, the England international has begun running in training, but it is still unclear when he will be welcomed back into Arsene Wenger’s team. The 26-year-old suffered cartilage damage in his right knee during the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Manchester City on May 8.
