Wilshere: I'm ready for first team action
Jack Wilshere says he's ready to make his return to first team action after completing 90 minutes for the U21s in a 4-1 win over Stoke at the Emirates last night. The England midfielder has been out of action since November when a bad challenge damaged ankle ligaments, but he's now made two appearances in the last week and is on his way back to full fitness. Speaking to the official site after the game, he said, 'You can train as much as you like but you can’t get that match fitness unless you play.
