Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alex Song is back training with the club, but has ruled out offering the midfielder a short-term contract. Song recently quit Russian club Rubin Kazan, where he had spent the last year-and-a-half, after they failed to pay their players for four months. The 30-year-old has been training with former club Arsenal over the past few days, as he attempts to maintain his fitness before joining a new side as a free agent before the end of the season.
