Leeds United hopes of signing Emiliano Martinez 'wrecked by Bernd Leno injury'

Leeds United will reportedly be forced to find alternatives to Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez following a possible season-ending injury for Bernd Leno. The Arsenal number one was taken off on a stretcher following a clash with Neal Maupay against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend - with Martinez coming off the bench for the Gunners as Brighton enjoyed a 2-1 win on the South Coast. The 27-year-old was said to be a transfer target for Leeds ahead of next season, but Martinez now looks set for an extended run in the first team at Arsenal.
