Jose Mourinho 'personally calls Sergio Reguilon in attempt to hijack deal'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly personally called Sergio Reguilon in an attempt to beat his old side Manchester United to the Real Madrid left-back. The 23-year-old impressed out on loan at Sevilla last season and was a key figure as Julen Lopetegui's side triumphed in the Europa League. Reguilon has been subject of interest from multiple Premier League clubs this summer, with United thought to hold the advantage, but OkDiario reports that Mourinho has approached the player directly to explain why he should pick Spurs instead.
